First Steps


If you want you can contact me by phone or email for an informal chat or to arrange an initial meeting. I will call you or email you back as soon as possible.( if you want me to call you back please include your phone number on the message you leave on my voicemail)

Our initial meeting will be an opportunity for us to meet , speak and get to know each other . There will be time for you to talk about what brings you to counselling and for us to explore this together as well as for you to ask any questions you have regarding counselling. At the end of the meeting we should have a good idea wether we want to work together. You might want to take a few days though to think it over.

Once we decide to work together we will establish a contract which we will be both comfortable with. The contract will make clear the confidential nature of our sessions, the cancellation policy and that we will work together in weekly sessions. We will also decide a weekly day and time of sessions agreeable to us both. We would then meet 8 times at the end of which you might decide that you have what you need or you might want to continue.
